Britain's skipper and record goalscorer was booed by a segment of supporters against Malta and could begin on the seat in Ljubljana on Tuesday night
Britain skipper Wayne Rooney is set to be dropped for England's up and coming conflict against Slovenia.
The Manchester United man battled in the 2-0 triumph over Malta on Saturday, with a segment of supporters at Wembley scoffing the Three Lions' record-breaking record goalscorer.
Also, Rooney may now need to settle for a place among the substitutes as Gareth Southgate gets ready to handle a midfield team of Eric Dier and Jordan Henderson in Ljubljana.
